Can be used to talk about cockroaches or insects in general. May also be used metaphorically as an insult to call a person a pest, an annoyance, or to suggest they are subhuman. &nbsp;&nbsp;

Cockroach

A spider, an eight-legged <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arachnid">arachnid</a> that spins a web. In 2020, this emoji became <a href="https://blog.emojipedia.org/spread-of-the-coronavirus-emoji/">primarily used</a> in reference to <a href="/coronavirus/">Coronavirus / COVID-19</a>.

Apple&#39;s version of this emoji most closely represents a virus, while others from&nbsp;Samsung, Microsoft and&nbsp;Twitter&nbsp;appear as bright green bacteria.
