Emoji Sequence
Emoji Sequences come in many formats, usually invisible to an end-user. Many emojis which appear visually similar are implemented using completely different mechanisms.
Examples of Emoji Sequences and their respective mechanisms are as follows:
- Emoji Modifier Sequence – 👮🏿 👍🏽 🕵🏻 💃🏼
- Emoji ZWJ Sequence – 👩🏿🤝👩🏼 🐕🦺 👨👩👧👦 🏳️🌈 👨👩👧👦
- Emoji Flag Sequence – 🇬🇱 🇭🇰 🇬🇧 🇩🇲 🇻🇦
- Emoji Tag Sequence – 🏴 🏴 🏴
- Emoji Keycap Sequence – *️⃣ 5️⃣ #️⃣ 9️⃣
Non-emoji sequences of Unicode characters exist as a combination of general Unicode characters such as حلال Halal.
