The front page of a newspaper, as people once read the news before the internet. Commonly used for various content concerning news, media, and journalism as well as personal news.

Most platforms depict a nondescript masthead, images, and columns of text. Apple&rsquo;s newspaper is called The Apple Times, featuring a logo based on its&nbsp;<a href="/eagle/">🦅 Eagle</a> and a picture of its <a href="/volcano/">🌋 Volcano</a>. Facebook&rsquo;s is called Daily Feed, with a headline &ldquo;El Capitan&rdquo; and picture of that famous <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Capitan">rock formation in Yosemite National Park</a>. WhatsApp&rsquo;s paper reads Daily News with a picture of a <a href="/world-map/">map</a>.

A bag full of money. Depicted as a sack, usually tan, tied off and displaying a <a href="/heavy-dollar-sign/">dollar sign</a>. May be filled with coins, as most platforms show a rounded bag.

Commonly used for various content concerning wealth and money.&nbsp;

Money Bag

A banded stack of <a href="/flag-united-states/">U.S.</a> <a href="/dollar-banknote/">dollar bills</a> with feather wings, as if flying. Its flight may represent losing, transferring, or earning money, but commonly used for wealth, money, and success more generally, often with a&nbsp;flourish or sense of flair.

While many western countries use red to indicate a negative result, Japan and other south east Asian countries <a href="/chart-increasing/">use red in a positive context</a>.
